Review "1stQ Intraocular Lens" Academic Seminar

    June 1st, 2017, the 30th APACRS(Asia-Pacific Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons) annual meeting and the 18th China Cataract Academic Conference was held in Hangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, which attracted more than 3,000 participants and more than 500 the world's top-class ophthalmologist gathered together to share this academic feast.

    At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Thomas Diehm introduced the R&D and sales of the 1stQ intraocular lens, he said he has been always involved in from the development of intraocular lens to the worldwide sales, which is a long time.      In the meeting, Professor Li Zhaohui, Professor Liu Xinhua and Professor Zhao Shaozhen shared the clinical effect and operation experience of 1stQ intraocular lens. Professor Li said that the most attractive characteristics of this IOL was its biconvex aspheric design and wide diopter range. The biconvex design can make sure the IOL be close to the posterior capsule, to have better image quality and to reduce the occurrence of PCO. The wide diopter range can apply for high myopia and hyperopia patients. Professor Lee also said that he particularly liked this kind of meeting that gathered many scholars to discuss about a kind of IOL. This is not a waste of resources, but make perfection more perfect.

    Professor Liu Xinhua focused on sharing the clinical effect of 1stQ IOL. Professor Liu took his own experience with patients as an example to detailed explain the precautions in the IOL application process and to share postoperative effect. Professor Liu said: This is a very good IOL, its excellent not only benefit from ingenuity of the design, but also from the excellent German craft. The design of the ultra-wide diopter range makes up a clinical gap which is the gospel of the patient and the doctor.

    Professor Zhao Shaozhen focused on sharing the comparison of the postoperative effect. Professor Zhao said: ophthalmology is a very exquisite and rigorous science, she did not compare to express the IOL is good or bad, but to improve the patient postoperative visual quality. She was optimistic about the German IOL.

Create New Strength in Ophathalmology, Prepare for A New Technological Future.-Grand Opening of Q20 OQAS Summit Forum in Jilin

    The Summit for Clinical Application of OQAS in 2016, which was orgnized by ShenZhen Qing Qing Vision, opened officialy at 08:00am on December 16th. Ophathalmic experts from all over the country gathered together in the beautiful ice city of Jilin. A visual feast of OQAS was opening up under a strong academic atomsphere.

    “2015 Annual Seminar for Clinical Application of OQAS Optical Quality Analysis System had been held successfully in Shenzhen Hilton Hotel from Jan.15 to 17, 2016.      Recently the 3rd summit for OQAS was held in Intercontinental Hotel, Shenzhen. Many famous experts in the field came to exchange their experience with OQAS, and to boost the establishment of the standard in Chinese clinical application with double pass technology.

     After surgery, Prof. Zhou taught the attendees the advantage of OQAS in person.

     Prof. Yu Ayong from the Eye Hospital of WMU, prepared the training material carefully and spared no effort to teach the attendees from around China. The Attendees learned a lot of applicable and precious technology for OQAS in clinical application.

Qing Qing Vision successfully hosting the 3rd summit for OQAS

     Recently the 3rd summit for OQAS was held in Intercontinental Hotel, Shenzhen. Many famous experts in the field came to exchange their experience with OQAS, and to boost the establishment of the standard in Chinese clinical application with double pass technology.

     The president of the summit, Prof. Wang Qinmei and Prof. Hao Yansheng, together with other famous experts from all over China such as Zhao Shaozhen, Li Zhaohui, Zeng Junwen, Bao Yongzhen, Lan Changjun, Wu Qiang, Zeng Siming, Li Li, Wu Zhengzheng, Zhou Jibo, Yu Ayong, Xu Shen, Zhao Hanyin, Wei Wei, Yan Jin, Tao Liming, Lei Bo, Wang Jing, Cheng Xukang, Liu Gang, Zheng Ling, Wang Yang, Wu Lian, Liu Xinhua, Liao Ying, Li Xiaoxia, Lu Chengzhe etc. as well as Huang Yibing (director of Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology), discussed in detail about the specific clinical application for OQAS, and proposed the preliminary standard in clinical application.

     Prof. Yu Ayong, from the clinical base of OQAS, summarized all the achievements from other study centers in China, made a report and demonstration for OQAS standard parameters on cataract, refraction and visual optics. Experts at the seminar had a heated discussion and made a preliminary agreement.

     The seminar suggested, through the way of group discussing, collection of cases from different centers in 2015, to achieve the completion of the draft standard, and to help this new technology contribute to the benefit of the patients as early as possible.

     The seminar also mentioned that experts in OQAS published 11 English papers and 7 Chinese papers in most important magazines in ophthalmology in 2014, and papers on cataract classification, dry eye classification, preoperative and postoperative optical quality contrast, repeatability etc. has important guiding significance worldwide.

     As the only comprehensive, objective and quantitative system in the field, OQAS is increasingly popular in China, and will play an important role in the promotion of the progress in eye scientific. We are looking forward to the early arrival of the spring of optical quality.
